A Really helpful solution for BSNL Dataone HOME500 Users —- Introducing NightRun

BSNL Dataone HOME500 plan offers a very good speed for download & upload streams. The download speed is as high as 262.4 KB/s.

This speed is ideal for downloading or uploading very large data over internet at a flashing speed, thus saving time & money. But the only limitation is that you are allowed only 2.5 GB of monthly bandwidth usage. So this means, if u get an average speed of 250 KB/s, the whole monthly bandwidth will be consumed in less than 3 hours !!!!!

But luckily BSNL Dataone HOME500 plan offers “Night Hours” or often called as “Happy Hours” i.e the during the hours from 2:00 am to 8:00 am , the download & upload is not counted under that 2.5 GB limit, & you can transfer as much data as u want in those 6 hours. In other words, the internet is “Free” to use at that time.

Now the Biggest Problem ! Who in hell will wake up at 2:00 am everyday ??
& the answer is your computer & ofcourse without waking you up.
My monthly usage is very high, see yourself in the following picture :

I use to host a FTP Server & a P2P server during “Happy Hours”. It was very hard to me to wake up at that time & switch my computer on & connect the internet. & the biggest problem was to wake up at proper time i.e before or at 8:00 am, to switch off the internet to prevent over-usage.

So, how bout if u leave your computer on all night, & make it to connect to internet at 2:00 am exactly & disconnect at exactly 8:00 am, and all by itself, all without tempering your sleep schedule, so you can enjoy a good & sound sleep ?
